Three years ago,
Dad: what kind of designer you want to be?
Me: I will be the kind of who is interview by business magazine first before fashion magazine.
Dad: WHY?
Me: cos I wanna be in design business not in some kind of "artsy-design land"

So here I am feeling very blasts with what I have right now. Well, I kinda look super ugly and unprepared in the picture cos I haven't sleep in three days preparing the fashion show.

STAS on Trans7

Trans 7 paid a visit to my house last weekend. We had a talk about trend 2013 in fashion and little bit about my up coming Spring/summer fashion show at Indonesia fashion Week.

Speaking about INDONESIA FASHION WEEK, i am counting down the show and It has been a crazy preparation. Wish me the best of luck!

Qisthas Noe'man at JAKARTA FASHION FESTIVAL

 JAKARTA FASHION FESTIVAL 2012 FASHION SHOW was awesome! :D this year was my 3rd year being part of the event, and it got better every year. similar with a year before, i explored paper! the different for this year, i took NEWSPAPER and design it as ready-to-wear fashion with the help of traditional weaving technique (TENUN).   

SAVAGE GARDEN is about recycle, reuse, and redesign. what i had in mind was  designing outfit that pretty and beautiful made out of garbage. in this case, i decided make WEAVING NEWSPAPER DRESS and for the detail, leftover traditional BATIK cap from my previous batik collection. 

At the end of the show, i am very thankful for all the help i got before and after the show. my mom and dad how never stop supporting me, all the tailor for their neat work, and last but to least is Titus who calm me down when I got cranky, love you.

MAN ON A LEDGE

it was a prefect movie to see on one 'not-so-lazy' night. :) i was just finish working when i took an over from a new friend of mind to go and see the movie. I'm not gonna lie, i do judge movie by its cover. haha. the poster they put in cinema is getting my attention. that was the reason why we picked the movie in the first place. turned out the movie itself is about a man how is trying to prove that he is Innocent.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

the year of 2011 had came into end! IT WAS TIME TO PARTY! 

We were having a Party at my house, tons off food to make by the way. we served 30 people to celebrate and enjoyed the firework from my house. i must say, it was the most beautiful night. THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM WAS AWESOME! actually not just from my room but the few from all over my house was amazing. 

before the party start it, I was trying out some recipes and creating my own signature taste. i really hope every body enjoyed the food and the view.

Movie day with Mas Andry was fun :) we went to Plaza Senayan after anjoying a fancy dinner.  we decide to see Contagion and turned out loving it. the movie brings the reality about people with life and death. money means nothing when it comes to life.

Last Night

I'm not gonna lie, this movie is sadly true. i don't want to admit it but it's still true. have you ever wonder what's your partner doing when your are not around? probably he/she is out buying flower for another person or when he/she gives you the sweetest kiss for you, his/her lips just kiss anther person and smile then say I LOVE YOU TOO . then asks yourself, what did you do for the past few hours before you meet your partner. did you text your EX? did you look at the pretty person sitting next to you?

like what someone told me, we were made to share love. you can't only love one person. we love our dad and mom and brother and sister and a cat and in my case doti+mosi. so, is it possible to love Ms. A and Ms. B at the same time with equal love? not one knows. 

my, an open relationship is a good solution, at least you don't lie to you partner and yourself. but is it really the best solution? if it's happen to me. i'll probably fine for the first few years but than i'll enjoy seeing his sad eyes begging for his life. :) 

love? it's never easy. share, compromise, and truth.

Touch Pets Cats

I MISS ROMEO! it has been almost two years since i left home. i keep asking myself, will I ever stop loving him? i woke up in the middle of the night and cried [ups!]. that leads me to download I cat games on my IPAD. so i bumped into 'TOUCH PETS CATS' games and named the pet Romeo. haha! it's cute! he asks for food, play catch, and talks as annoying as my baby boy.

I'm so excited! i bought mini sewing machine. so here is the think, I love anything with unusual size. from mini perfume to big guy. HA HA! anyway. i'm building a mini design studio with mini mannequin, mini sewing machine and designing mini dresses.

ps. my mini sewing machine does work. surprise surprise.

Home Sweet Home

What's gonna happen when the best architect and the designer meet? They are designing my house.  few weeks ago, My dad, my mom, and I went to Loewy and meet Andra Matin the Architect. we were talking about the house. it's coming along nicely. :D it's just a small house with a big yard, just like my dream house. We are working with the best of the best, the Architecture is design by Andra matin, he was elected as one of the architects of the 101 most activearchitects of the new world in the year 2007 version of 'wallpapers * directoryarchitecture'. and the interior is design by my dad [Irvan noe'man] and also my mom. 

Soragan jogja

I went to Jogja! yeah! well to bad it wasn't for pleasure tho. it was a work matter, i had to do a presentation at 'balai kreatif' about how design can change the economic. this is want i do for the past few months. my idealism: i am not calling my country FUCK UP, before i try to make it not to. it might me nothing but at least i'm going to try.

anyway, after the meeting and presentation we went out to Soragan. they said it's the best place to eat sea food. i agree! :* the shrimps tasted so good. i ate the whole plate by myself.

ps. if one year from now people talking about "made in Indonesia for the world", it's start from my macbook. hahaha.

I miss fall

one thing i regret the most from my years at the US was, i didn't take enough picture. anyway, my favorite season is FALL! i love when the leaves turning colors and i love the temperature. Marinette gets really cold in the winter time. i lived on north pole [I'm serious]. it makes fall temperature is just perfect, it was the only time when i can wear cute outfit. haha~!
